Title: Shooting bag instructions
Post by: No Powder on March 18, 2024, 10:12:14 AM
This would be a good question for Darren, but an answer from anyone would be fine. How do you fasten a squirrel leg to one of those game hangers on the flap of hunting bags?

Usually the hanger has a ring on the end or a slit in the end, pull the thong through the slit or ring to make a loop, insert animal part and snug it up

Thanks Jim. I should have been in one of your scout troops, and then I would have known.

You fellers are gonna laugh but this is my goto squirrel bag, a Dan's Briarproof small game bag. After hunting squirrels for decades, I finally got smart enough to put them in something so I didn't get covered in blood while toting the carcasses around. Plus, this bag has a big zippered pocket on the side that I can stick all my black powder paraphernalia in instead of my pockets. I love it!
