Forgive me for getting excited. I was thinking about Uncle Russ. So I tried to contact him by e-mail and PM and got no response. I tried to find a recent post, but failed. Does anyone know about his and his wife's well being?
-
I got a quick note from him early in the week. No indication there was a problem.
-
He posted in the Executive Forum two days ago. :bl th up

Thanks a lot fellows. I got a PM from him and I feel much better. Apparently he didn't get my e-mail, which is typical. I know you can find a persons last post, but I don't know how to do that.
-
Click on the person's name, when the next screen opens up scroll down to where the name is. Under that you will see "send PM", "show posts" and "show state". Click on the "show posts" and you will find everything the person has posted on TMA.

Thanks Winter Hawk. I have been talking back and forth with Butler Ford 40, and between you and him I understand things a little better. I've got a long way to go.

Keep it up Tom, and in a few minutes, you'll be as smart as me... ;)
-
Hey Hank, does that mean I'll be able to build guns like you do?
-
Only if you don't mind building some pretty humble guns. ::)
-
IIRC the rifle you used when you came to Rockwood PA to shoot was a fine looking rifle. If that's the case then I wouldn't mind being able to build a humble rifle. Anyway, if it's too pretty and has a lot of brass on it , I'll just wear my arm out from polishing.

:o NO, NO, NO! How is it ever going to develop (word of the year) "patina" if you insist on polishing it? :lol sign

That's a good one Kees. Let me think about that a minute.
