I found a deal on some elk hides recently and decided to make a pair of leggings to wear over my blue breeches. Just a little trimming left on the bottoms and the ties. This is my first attempt at leather clothing. I would rather have had brain tan, but the price of the elk was just too tempting. I figure after a couple of wet, muddy rendezvous and they will look just right.
