Title: Making a pair of leggings
Post by: prairie dog on April 05, 2011, 07:10:16 PM
I found a deal on some elk hides recently and decided to make a pair of leggings to wear over my blue breeches.  Just a little trimming left on the bottoms and the ties. This is my first attempt at leather clothing.  I would rather have had brain tan, but the price of the elk was just too tempting.  I figure after a couple of wet, muddy rendezvous and they will look just right.  :)

They look good, I made mine with the other side of the hide facing out.
