As you probably know Russ, I'd be much too young to know of which you speak. As to Al, I'm not really sure he was on our side.     Hank, my friend, this is Uncle Russ you're talkin to!
Since you've been around since the earth's first cooling, ya probably just forgot!

Now as far as brother Al goes, ya can't hold that against him 'cause he didn't know which side he was supposed to line up on either.
Jumping out of aero-planes, and wearing them little green berets sometimes does things to the old head, don'tcha know.

Yep Russ...still had the same footlocker set up when I went in...learned to just set it up and never use it again 'cause you could never get it clean enough to pass inspection.

Like Bigsmoke said, I remember my grandmama having a dress that came up a bit higher than the ankles...and almost always having on an apron.  What a soft spoken lady and a great cook.
We had a wringer washer when I was a kid...but it was electric...can't hide class :shock:

Great read guys - brings back memories.  I turn 66 next Wednesday - but some of you fellers got quite
