Joe, if your area is anything like the West Coast, everything is shut down for the near future. So, you might as well do your own thing as that will be the only thing you will do.
Were we still in Idaho, and still up in the hills, that is exactly what we would be doing. I would set up the pyramid and put out all my good camp gear and move into it until it got too cold to enjoy. Probably the end of September or the first part of October. We used to do that every year and it was great. I had a couple of chairs that were set up inside the tent, and we would go out there about dark and light a couple of candles and pour ourselves an adult beverage. I had a wind up radio (I know, not primitive, but who cares?) So, we would have a drink, listen to tunes, and chit chat about the day's happenings. The candles burned about an hour, which was ample time to have our drink, get undressed and hit the hay and wait for the candles to go out. The radio would about wind down by then as well. I probably miss those times as much as anything down here.
