Title: Hawk Sheaths
Post by: burch on May 17, 2009, 06:46:48 PM
I`m looking for some designs for a custom hawk sheath.  Has anyone gone this route or do most of you just buy one. I thought it would be pretty cool to make a custom one. Any pics out there.

This is what I made for my Hawk. It was my first attempt at leatherwork, and I have seen better versions since I made this one.

Nice job Brian, I didn't see you at Ft Fredrick this year.  Are you going to the Eastern at Muddy Run?

Nope didn't make it to Fort Fredrick this year, I was busy movin' into our new house. I forgot about the Eastern, thanks for reminding me! A few guys wanted me to go last year, but I couldn't make it, I will see what happens this year.

Brian, congratulations on your new house.  I guess it is easy to forget about the Eastern when you are hanging out with all these western people on this forum.  Don't forget that the REAL frontier was east of the Mississippi River, not west.
