And. Bear season starts in a couple weeks so need to do some shooting.

I'll be getting into the build starting this week.
Tried picking up some bulk shot for the Fowler but all the local spots are sold out. Plenty of balls n conical though but say they can't keep shot in stock.

now to inlet the trigger guard and I'm outta parts so i figure most be close to done.
I ran out of 1/16" rod for pins and I found out that little marker flags come on a 15" x 1/16" steel rod. worked perfectly.
Wonder how I might proceed on the trigger guard.
I've seen flush mount with screw and inlet with pins. I"m leaning toward pins.

Looks real good.
I like pins myself, but I have went the screw route, and I've went (pin in front and screw in rear). So, whichever you decide. :hairy

Kevin, your progress on this is looking great!, how's the TG coming along?

I've been pretty bad about taking pics but it's nearly finished.
Started rust Browning the barrel last night.
Just some final sanding and shaping then I'll stain the ol gal and see if she shoots.
It's been really fun and educational. Definitely doing another on soon.
