Happy Birthday, Russ.
I know it's going to be a good one, because you have really had a lot of practice at having birthdays. You know what to do and how to do it!!! Keep it up.

Dang! Late for my own Birthday Party, that's what old age does fer a feller.
Thank all you guys for taking time out of your own busy lives to send me a Birthday Greeting!
Hank WV, Yep bro, we pulled off another one! Hope we get a couple more in, and I get back there and show you and Brother Al how to get them old mean Skwrls outta them Trees....that is the one thing I want to do before the good Lord has Roll Call.
I want to go Skwerl Huntin again.
A true Gentleman's Sport, The Prince of the Hunting Sport, when it comes to Muzzleloading!
That's on my bucket list for Next Year, This year I am putting in for a Cow Tag. I'm going to hunt the "Huckleberry Area' GMU 121, not far from the huge Colville Indian Reservation . My Daughter has a Cabin and 100 acres in the area, and keep their Snowmobiles and 4 Runners stored in Town.
But there is a well know Outfitter from the kid's High School Days, that saying "One Call, That's all, and I'll have your Elk out, butchered, and freezer wrapped, all for no cost....Just bring me that .69cal Flintlock to play with!!"
Silly boy, I'll take it with me, he can play with it for 10days, but I'm bringing it back home and we get our own Elk out, and do our own butchering, but I actually do appreciate his offer.
When that's all said and done I'm headed to Virginia to see my Sister, who I have not seen in over 65 years. And a few other Kin folks I have never meet, including the oldest living Member of the Baker Family, Aunt Della.... in her 90's, and sharp as a tack!
Thanks again for the Nice Birthday wishes......Your friend, Russ

Kees, the verbiage in your post sure is humbling.
Thank you Sir!
It ain't like we're out here on the high Plains partying 'till early dawn on old Russ' Birthday. ( I sure do wish I could do that again...lol)
If my dear Wife hadn't had a surprise gift on our table on the back deck, where I always have my morning coffee, and told me Happy Birthday when I came back in the house, this birthday would have come and gone without me even realizing I was a year older!
Honestly, I was still thinking I have a birthday in May and I'm going Fishing on my birthday. (Well, that still hasn't happened!)
But late in that afternoon, early evening, it was a whole 'nother story at my house. The calls started coming in and people started dropping by, and I was very pleasantly surprised that so many people had thought I was 15 even 20 years younger than what I really am!
Every day on this side of the grass is indeed a great day when you're 82 years old!
That, and, the many kind remarks from fellers like you, and all the other fine folks here, sure does warm this old boy's heart.
Thank you, thank all of you!
Russ...
