My newer FL built by Captchee a few years ago, started life as a back half machine duplicated Issac Haines with an older Getz 54 cal swamped barrel inleted, figured english walnut, Chambers Deluxe Siler lock, Davis triggers, most of the German Silver furniture was not available anymore, Cap has stock so he smelted it and made the furniture himself, sliding wood patch box and 14 carat gold band on the barrel and gold lined pan on the lock. I gave Cap the parts that I had and asked him to build me the Queen of the prom, told him what I basically wanted and then told him that I didn't want to see any pics of it, just deliver it to me at Monroe when finished, he didn't disappoint what so ever! the thing is a tack driver!

That's a mighty fine looking Prom Queen, Jim... Cap did an outstanding job. :hairy

You can always depend on that ol' Cheeto eater to do an amazing job.
What I find interesting is the Monroe gun show was 5 months ago, and you are just now getting around to placing the brag? You are getting pretty slow there, my friend.
Regardless, that is one handsome bit of craftsmanship. I am very impressed.
