Post by: rickevans on May 09, 2022, 09:32:17 AM
Found this one on my pile of stuff to sort through....Trying to find out what size round ball it throws.  Anyone have a reverse lookup on old Lee molds?

Rick, I'll bet Uncle Russ may be a big help with this! shoot him a pm! and if it's a .350 mold I'm your huckleberry!

Interesting.  I would have expected it to measure 0.454" which can be used with the .44 revolvers IIRC.

OK, so that problem is cured.  But FYI, Track of the Wolf has about every round ball mould that Lee ever made listed in their on line catalog, including a lot that have been dropped from production.
In looking at the Lee website, it is kind of disheartening to see how many of their moulds are in a backorder situation.  Which goes to explain why Track's catalog shows them as out of stock.  I guess that is the new normal, eh?
