I just registered on this site, I live in Wisconsin (near Lake Michigan) and have been interested in Muzzleloaders since high school in the 1960"s. I have an old Dixie 45 cal rifle I bought then - made in Belguim, and two rifles I made plus two Uberti Rem revolvers - one very old 44 and one brand new 36 cal.
If I had more percussion caps, I could shoot them more!

Welcome, Jim! I think you'll find folks helpful and friendly here. I know I sure have!
I live in southwest Missouri near Springfield. I have a whole passel of flintlocks that I use to put food in the freezer. I have a real passion for squirrel hunting but right now my thoughts have turned towards turkeys. I have a big group of jakes that have been scratching right behind the house on an almost daily basis. There is also a herd of their bigger brothers that I have been hearing and seeing lately. I hope they're still around by the time the season opens.
Take care,
Darren

Hi, Jim, welcome from Ohio. Wife and I have friends in Hartford and Juneau and relatives in Mauston. We love Milwaukee, Portage, fish Fry's and cheese curds. I encourage you to try the TMA postal matches that start on April fools' day (pretty appropriate). Watch for info from Nessmuk, he's da man.
