Sorry to hear that.  The latest owners are great people.  As have been the previous owners.

I hate to see it close even though I dont have one of Matts guns. I hope that someone will buy the business an carry on their excellent service tradition

Great man.... with fantastic customer service. NSW will sorely be missed. The staff are great as well. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Matt and his family.

Hopefully some one with the same dedication and knowledge will take over NSW and and carry on the tradition.

I hate that it is closing.  I'd been thinking about a "canoe" gun kit for some time.  Oh, well.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I was lucky to share a Rondy camp with Matt years back at Chadron Fur Trade Days and he spent hours at the Museum of the Fur Trade studying those trade guns he was so good at making. His work and dedication to these fine pieces he made will be missed. Get well Matt and hope to see you in camp down the road again someday.

PM sent Fletcher.

The time I spent in camp with Matt, I learned a lot from him for just being a hobby muzzle loading rifle builder. Wish I could have spent and learned more from him. He's a world of knowledge as well as a great builder.
