Thanks guys!
:Doh! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
The Mike Fink shoot has always been a really fun thing for all of us, but it is a lot more fun when you can get to practice a little beforehand.
On this particular shoot, I was "on" more than I was off at the instant the shot broke, and normally that turns out pretty fair for me....I can still call a missed shot from a mile away, once the shot breaks and if it looks like it's going to miss, it will.

Most Excellent shooting! :bow I had a little problem discerning one of Uncle Russ's tens and one of the eights, until I saw that they were blending in with the white background. :o Hopefully I can learn to shoot that well one of these years! :laffing

uncle russ had an Amazing target - just look at that smoothbore group! wow! superb shooting, indeed! :bow
me? heck, just look at that mess! all over the place and lucky by a cat's whisker on more than a few holes. what a mess. phooey.
the cool thing about these personal postal "local" matches is that you can get pumped up to just do Better. let's face it, it's a one-on-one game, with each of us being the "one". i know i can do better, and that means more range time - with a purpose! :bl th up

I edited and posted all the returned MF targets in the first post of this thread.

Standing, 25 yards, off hand.....it is actually one of the more fun / novelty shoots we have due to the history of this event actually happening.
The old saying, "try it, you'll like it" proves itself in this target, and it's amazing how popular Joe's target has become here in the Pacific Northwest...over the years I have printed them off and handed them out when asked for a "clean one".
Nowadays, years later, it's not all that unusual to find them on target boards at both the rifle range and pistol range.
When I ask the guys where they got those targets or where they came from, their response is nearly always the same..."old so and so gave me one, or I printed a few off, or I had a few printed"
Not a single one of those guys know who Ohio Joe / Joe Martin is, or even what the TMA is, for that matter.
Uncle Russ...

Thanks Russ!
