Title: Skean Dubh Sticker
Post by: PetahW on September 29, 2020, 06:48:52 PM
.

My take on the Scottish Skean Dubh ( say: "ski-en du" or "black knife", aka "Sgian Dubh" ) sticker - good for a boot or stocking/calf carry.

The full tang knife's blade is 4" long, with a OAL of 6-1/2", walnut scales with chicken scratches

Now, I gotta make an appropriate sheath for it - after which I'm thinking of making another sticker, but with a white bone or Stag scales.

Nicely done Sir, was that blade a pre made blank or did you craft it?

Alas, as I'm not a great metal worker, it's a boughten boot knife blade.  :)
