I'm trying to figure out just how many firearms are required to compete in the aggregate.
My main idea is interchangeable barrels and locks for some of them

Well, looks like you will need at least six, including your full stock, fancy wood, silver mounted in-line.  Like your American Express card, don't leave home without it. :rotf  :rotf

Someday i want to try it.

I'll have a 12g barrel , a rifled barrel and a flint smooth bore all for one stock.

I've been there at that range a few times.  It's a good facility for sure.

First I would  call and find out what they include in their aggregate scoring .
Most of the events I go to around here , and your not that  far away . Do have a lot of shooting .
Take the wenaha  vooo down in Troy Or .
You have Rifle  trail , both flint and cap lock . Then pistol trail , smooth bore/trade gun, shotgun shoot , long gong shoot , traditional and primitive archery , hawk an knife trail ., Ft shoot , team shoot and all the peewee and Jr events
They score  each event separately for 1,2 and 3rd place  for both men and women  .
But their aggregate  is only scored by the rifle , pistol and hawk and knife scores .  So if your going to compete for the high aggregate score , you have to  participate in  all 3 of those events
Some other events score the flintlock and cap lock separately.  So you can compete in both . But only your highest score  with either rifle is eligible for the aggregate
