That's a wonderful pistol, large smoothbore, the right markings on the lock ("George Rex", "Tower of London"), and a gaping muzzle hole!

Bigsmoke:
Looks about like a 16 ga.
So, if you want to shoot shot in it, 16 ga would work good as far as wads go.  Thinking grouse hunting here.
Any other markings on the pistol?
Looking forward to seeing it.
