Apache style quiver

(1/2) > >>

rollingb:
I saw a picture of an Apache arrow quiver in the Denver Museum,.... and had to attempt making one like it out of brain tanned buckskin for my son.

(Please ignore the plastic arrows in the quiver, his primitive cedar shaft arrows hadn't arrived yet. :laffing)

BEAVERMAN:
:hairy like the red wool binding

Spotted Bull:
That's awesome!

rollingb:
Thanks Jim,.... there is a skinned piece of willow limb (about 1/2" in diameter) that runs the length of the quiver under the trade wool, so when removing all the arrows the quiver still retains its shape.  :bl th up

Oldetexian:
 :hairy Another beautiful quiver!

Thanks for the disclaimer about those arrows...that caught my eye almost before the quiver did...lol A quiver that nice definitely deserves better... :bl th up
