Looking for suggestions for harnessing up snowshoes in backpack fashon. On pics it seems there is a split in usage of a single cross body strap and two shoulder straps. I presume folks simply use leather straps fed through the lacing/frame. One strap or two? Suggestions on buckles -- something quick to fasten/unfasten? Maybe some customizations that add comfort or utility?

I use a single strap attached to the webbing at the top and bottom of the shoes, slung across the shoulder ( like your shooting bag) with a buckle in the chest area for adjustment based on clothing worn. Each end of the strap has leather thongs for tying to the shoes.

A long while back I did this using a cord and a twig tied to each end acting like a toggle fed through the webbing at whatever position made it work. Same could be done with a leather wang.
