Horn mounted on bag straps

(1/3) > >>

jbullard1:
Dont laugh but I dont know where to put it    . Above the bag on short straps or lower down with longer straps. Probably personal preference but I never did it

Groundhog:
Well it will ride better the higher you go ...
the farther down the more it'll get to swingun iffin ya be runnin from or too something...
Just re-strapped an old bag the other day... The new horn will ride high.
Hope this helps...

BEAVERMAN:
Besides that, if you cover the flap with the horn, everytime you want it the pouch its in the way, I like to mount them about an inch above the flap.if you have 11 to 12" of starp left, thats plenty to swing the horn up for measuring powder.

Bigsmoke:
What Beaverthing said.

T.C.Albert:
All of the above, and then some...I generally mount them centered on the flap...or high on the flap....and never below it. The variety used on originals seems to be endless, but I like to put them where they look balanced the best based on the horns shape, and centered on the flap. this rides nice over the swell of stuff in the pouch, and holds the flap shut.
