We had a total of 7 members take part in our trial run smoothbore match (with a reported 8 total scores) which I feel gives us a pretty good start to build on with this event.  With this said, I will set a Schedule for our TMA Smoothbore Match with the two sight classes we shoot in (No Rear Sight & With Rear Sight).

My thanks to all of you for taking part.  :shake :bl th up

Maven:
And thanks to you Joe for running this match and for your willingness to do so once more. :hairy

Ohio Joe:
Thanks Maven, it was a good idea you had about these smoothbore matches and we're going to follow through with them.  :shake

I'm working on the 2018 Postal Match Schedule as of this post...

I would like to have us another smoothbore match before this year is out,,, I was thinking October 2017 perhaps?  I'll post it up before the end of next week. I'm a thinking same target for now.  :bl th up

Uncle Russ:
Joe I appreciate you allowing the use of the .56 in a "W/Sight" Class.

Perhaps you could consider such a Class again next year?????

I only know of Maven and myself owning these guns right now, but I betcha there's more of 'em out there. 8)
Many folks, like myself, never expect to get an invite to shoot in smoothie matches due to the uncommon accuracy of these rifles...quite often exceeding the abilities of the shooter.

Anyway, it gives me a chance to promote these guns, as you have heard me doing for a long time.... without anyone ever believing a word I was saying about smoothbore accuracy.... :bow

Thanks again for all the effort you put into these matches.
(After all, myself and a couple of others, are privy to the many 'behind the scenes' conversations that involve these matches, so I know first-hand, the hours, days, even weeks that go into the preparation, before the first shot is even fired.)

Thanks my friend!  :bl th up

Uncle Russ....

I have GOT to get my butt in gear and shoot in some of these smoothbore matches,... maybe when things clam down here a bit.  :hairy

I'm pretty sure my wife would also like to get in on the "with rear-sight" class with her Tulle.  :bl th up
