Post by: sse on February 27, 2018, 09:08:16 PM
The first one listed get's me an error message, and I think that is where the March target is located...?

Hmmm, it's not coming up. Here's the message we're getting;

Was you able to print it ok?

Well, of course I did find the target here:  "2018 Postal Match practice target faces" ...but,

the target is a photo of a PDF and it is mostly gray, and prints out that way, not optimal.

I may be able to find a good copy in a TMA target file that I have had for years.

I just now looked in my "Target Packet For 2018" and all those targets are nice, clear, and clean.

And, I just realized I won an award last year, me and my ol' pard Rod....Mike Fink stuff wouldn't ya know!
Thanks for that nice Certificate, Joe
I remember you saying you was going to send out a Certificate, but it was stuck to a target in my 2018 package!

Seeing that Certificate really gave me a bad case of "I wanna get out there and shoot" but that ain't going to happen today. The Range is most likely open, but with these temps in the 20's, and that wind blowing......., I keep thinking about that old scene where a kid had his tongue stuck to a frozen flagpole... :P

I would sure hate to have that happen with a Muzzle Loader.
You'd have to wait until the summer thaw before ya could ya ever get back home  :Doh!

Uncle Russ....

Me too... :)

And for the life of me I didn't even think about that.  All I could think of was maybe he licked his thumb and ran it over the front sight - then I thought - no,,, he said tongue... Then I thought, "unless he gives his front sight a lick" and about that time I was laughing so hard (like I am now) I couldn't think straight!!!  :laffing :laffing :laffing

Oh brother,,,  :Doh!

That does make a larger black since the outer ring is heavy, than what I find in the practice targets, which will be good for aging eyes.  I don't think I could even see that little, bitty one inch circle from 25 yards!   :laughing

The intent was to use some of those new Targets that were included in the Silhouette Packets in the Monthly Shoots. However they print off with a grayish background, and at the time I thought the new targets would save some expensive ink for our members when printing our new targets.

However, grayish background targets will not save ink, therefore we will revert to the use of the old pdf posted TMA Target downloads which print with a white background.

I will change the required "Monthly" targets to be used for our Monthly Shoots so that we'll be using the old pdf white background targets. So far I've changed April and May and will do the rest tonight.

We're still having our Monthly Shoots - not to worry on that order...  :bl th up :bl th up
