Was sitting around wondering how I could check my Siler for sparks, if they showered into the pan OK, how well did it spark etc.
So I set up my camera in my darkened gun room and came up with the following pics  
The first pic is just for reference.

Ness, I wouldn't know where to begin on how to judge that lock, but from the picture I would say you've got sparks aplenty....certainly a nice picture.

Somewhere here on the forum, a year or so back, the guys posted a nice U-Tube sequence of ignition "timing" from a flinter and it was quite impressive too.

Perhaps whoever posted that could post it again. I think you would like that if you could see it.....
