I built this 50 caliber cannon from a CVA kit that I found used on The Gun Works Muzzleloading Emporium's website. It was a fun project and it is fun to shoot.

Looks cool Norm, is it rifled? What kind of a charge have you used

Now that looks like it would be fun to shoot. Is it a 32 cal or a 36 cal?

That is sweet

It is smooth bore. I have set it off several times in the backyard with 25 grains of 3f with just paper wadding packed against the powder tightly. I have not shot a patched round ball through it, only paper. Paper packed tightly makes a good boom.
