Wear my shooting bag on the right-side... now shoot right handed. Alot easier for me with messed up left wrist... I have a big possibles bag I carry on the left which I usually take off... once I get set.
Used to look at different pictures and try to figure out why they carried shootin' bags on the left...      Still up in the air which side I want to carry my leather flask.

I'm left handed so I wear my shooting pouch and horn on my left side and haversack on the right.

I'm right handed and carrymy horn and bag on the right side.

I think it was programmed into me when I was a militia man using the manual of arms loading my Brown Bess musket and all. Shootin a rifle just seems naturally follows the same procedure (sort of) that you hold the rifle in your left hand across your body while you fuss with the priming and lock and such. Couldn't do it any other way.

I'm right handed and wear my shootin' bag and horn on my left side...

Why...???  Well, I'm used to reachin' for a sword on my left side and seemed natural to reach that direction for things.

Also, I prefer to hold my powder measure in my right and pour with the left.

<shrug> go figure...

I don't have a horn or bag,so I must be in the middle.I do have a very nice horn and bag coming. And this will be hanging on my left-side and I'll be off the fence.

I wear mine on the right and am right handed.
Always seemed the easiest for me to work from and wasn't "in the way" when loading.
My patch knife which is high on the strap is more convenient, powder measure easier to fill and so on as I work predominantly with my right hand while my rifle/fusil is on the left side
By the way my powder horn I use most and is attached to my bag strap is a left hand horn so go figure!!
Guess I am a wee bit mixed up!!

Well I shoot left handed, so my bag is on the left as well. Just seems easier for me to load and all. Would like to get a left handed bag in the future, didn't see any while I was shopping for one.
I have noticed that Common sense has become less common these days.
