I just got a call from our brother Lynn Blevins, The Weaving Welchman
He had a heart attack a couple of weeks back. Prior to that, he had two "stints" put in!
And even prior that, sometime last Spring, he was admitted for observation due to palpations, and other irregularities associated with chest pain.
Right now he is doing pretty good....in his words.
Talked a lot about getting out and going fishing, but he's not sure he's up to cutting the thick ice....he has decided to take it easy and wait on the thaw.
Anyway, he is back home, and he has his lovely wife Dorthy to look after him...she'll keep his butt in line, and sometimes that's exactly what's needed for old hard headed folks like Lynn.
Let's join together in wishing him the best.

I've got a stent. Best of luck to The Weaving Welchman.

Been missing Len here abouts. He's got some talented fingers for weaving!
Wishing him the very best!

All the best Lynn Blevins, (The Weaving Welchman) :wave
Get better, and those fish will still be biting when your ready! :bl th up

Kind of odd for me wishing him well. As I remember, he had to wait on me to get out of the hospital recovering from a heart attack so I could pay him for a horn strap he made me. Hang tough Lynn.

Great story Hank, it just shows the brotherhood found here in the TMA.
One caring for the other.
As a side note; Hank has been all the way across this country twice to visit, and either myself or my wife one was in the Hospital when he got here...No, If I remember right, I had gotten out of the Hospital, but my wife was in the hospital both times he was here.
Hank has become family! Good people!
Folks that don't know Hank very well should get to know him.
He's a very easy going guy, other than giving me and brother AL a rash at times.
Of course, you will find brothers you care for in every walk of life, and after being here as long as I have, I can assure you, there are no better brothers than those found here in the TMA.
I am very proud of this extremely tightknit group.

But Russ...you missed something in Hanks post...who would a thunk he had a heart to attack!?
Reckon I should cut him some slack though...he does let me sleep on his back porch!
Back to the thread...seems like Lynn is getting better, just needing a group of rest. The perch should be safe for a week or so...

I just want to say, we survived Hank's visit... Don't ask me how, we got lucky... :lol sign
Hank my friend, it was good times when you were out here. It was great to meet and visit with you in person! :shake We truly had a good time and a great tour out at Fort Robinson where Crazy Horse was killed. Randy Kane really brought the tour to life for us and almost made a person feel they were there when it all took place.
Hope the Weaving Welchman all the best and a fast recovery. :shake

I should probably clarify the above post,.... I've never had any stints put in (they said I was too plugged up for stints) so they did 5 "by-passes" on me in 2007. :bl th up

I've been by-passed a time or two, but nothing as serious as that. ::)
