Welcome to the TMA, rfd.

Seriously doubt if T/C ever made a rifle like that.
Might be CVA or a Traditions, but it really looks more like a Pedersoli.
I'd bet on a Traditions brand made by Pedersoli.

Looks identical to the Traditions Pennsylvania I am selling except mine is a caplock & has what I think are custom weeping heart inlays...

If it's a Trad Pa rifle, it'll have a 40 1/4" barrel. If a Trad. Shenandoah, a 33 1/2" barrel.

I recall weeping hearts being on some of the earlier guns. One of the reasons I didn't care for them back then. Just my personal taste,which is suspect anyway! :walk

from the pedersoli website, it looks like they recommend a .445" ball.  

what are your ball diameters and patch thickness/type/lube yer using for this rifle?

Mine is a .50 and I use a .49 ball and a .015 patch.

That is something you are going to have to experiment with. Basically, seeing what the rifle likes(shoots the best). The web site may suggest a .445 ball but most folks that I know shoot a .440 ball with a .010 or .015 patch. Heck, your gun may like a .018 patch. I would go into more detail but I seem to be tongue tied this morning. :laffing

I recently did a flint conversion on mine and picked a load out of guessing. 50 g. of FF, .440 rb with .017 blue ticking soaked with Hoppes BP+. More often than not, it shoots in the same hole at 25 yards. from a bench rest. I most likely will stick with that load, but may see what it likes in FFF in case that's what I have with me,just so I know.

(I miked my patch wet using the friction thimble on the micrometer,FYI)
