Muley, that's tough and I feel for you.  I'd just have to keep at least one of them for display.

Shooting Matches, WOW. NOOOOOO! I do not need a reason to do that. I figure I got guns, powder, balls, targets, time, ranges, and most of all a digging desire to enjoy a bang up time. Lets shoot. I go to paper shoots, not my favorite, but I do it. I go to woodswalk, my hunting pratice. Rendezvous shoots lots of shooting and fun all over. I go to my club, by myself or with whoever wants to share the joy. just to shoot or to shoot postal targets. If you give me powder, patch, ball, a gun and say shoot, I don't ask why; you just have to tell me to stop to get your stuff back. Anything related to the sport of muzzleloading is comradery, making new friendships, rekindling old and lifelong friendships. Sharing and getting ideas and information, just enjoying free. I've shot great, I've shot horrible and everything in between; but it's all the same to me.

I won't be doing any shooting for a while.  I have had cataracts removed from both eyes over the past three weeks; with the left one done yesterday.  I'll be needing reading and shooting glasses soon as they stabilize.

Good to hear that, Hanshi!  The cataract removal, not the not shooting part.  Lady in our church had cataracts removed and now sees well without glasses; here's hoping you have the same outcome!

Our TMA best to Hanshi. Hope that cataracts removal and recovery is coming along on a positive note. Hang in there, you'll be back at the Range soon. :shake

I'm afraid i'll have to pull out of the shoots. Sorry greyhunter.

I have too many medical problems to continue hunting and if i'm not hunting there's no sense in owning a gun anymore. I've sold out all I have related to guns and hunting.

I'm going to live out my years fly fishing and taking it easy.

Have a good shoot guys.

Aw Pete, don't throw in the towel!  Those who can do, those who can't teach. Surely there's someone in your life who could benefit from all your experience?  Find a kid to teach the love of the sport and you'll bless another generation.  :bl th up
