I went to a Muzzleloading shop Thursday and  found a TVM Pennsylvania rifle that I couldn't pass on. That Matt Avance does nice work.

Looks like a nice piece of "plain" maple. I have an Avance "Early Virginia" stocked in drop-dead gorgeous stump figure walnut. Matt can make a simple hunting gun something to admire and enjoy.

Owning more than one of Matt's rifles I can agree they are very nice plus.  You now own an heirloom.

Right nice rifle you got there!  I've got a TVM that is treasure as well; an early Virginia transitional rifle in 50 caliber.

Regardless, it is very nice.
