The wife and I drove over to pick it up and meet Jim. Super nice guy and a pleasure to do business with.

Really nice gun Caddo!  Give us some specs on it.  Are you using it to hunt deer down there this year?

Creek, its a Ed Rayle 45 inch 48 caliber barrel. Rust blued lock and barrrel, modified Davis triggers and early colonial lock by Davis. The stock is stump maple with some good figure in it. Jim made the patchbox, thimbles , sideplate ,nosecap, barrel lugs and wedges his self. I'm not sure about the trigger guard and butt plate. The stock was stained with aquafortis and was scraped no sandpaper. I wish I could hunt with it but still have to sight it in, she shoots a little high and a bit to the right. May be able to get it done by next week just been to busy hunting the last week and no deer yet :Doh!

Well, if you can't use it this season for deer you can use it for bushytails.  Not too big for that; you just have to bark them! LOL.  She sure is a beaut Caddo.  Enjoy her to the fullest!  And good luck on the rest of deer season.
