Title: Baldric For Willyard/Secrest Hunting Sword
Post by: LRB on January 30, 2013, 02:38:08 PM
My first Baldric. 1 1/2" wide of 8/9 0z. vege-tan. Sewn with 6 ply linen thread. Buckle is hand made from 3/16" brass sheet, and has a triangular iron tongue, per "Sketch Book '76", and some originals I've seen. The leather was left natural and finished with oil. As mentioned, this is my first, so critiques and or suggestions are welcomed.
