Tried CCI, didn't care for them.
Tried Remington, same situation.
RWS go off everytime for me if I do my job. I have not had the same experience with the others.

I had that happen with a case of CCI Musket caps, years ago. I got a phone call from one of my dealers who had purchased them, and I must say, it wasn't a pleasant call to receive. IIRC, CCI did make it up to the guy, but I would not have wanted to be the rep that called on him to rectify the problem. Whew!! He was hot.

The CCI's have been reliable and available so they are now in the possibles - I've tried several others an haven't been impressed either way - most I have tried have been reasonable and reliable with a moderate amount of care and attention to detail when placing on the nipple and keeping them out of humidity.....(not too much of a problem here when the relative humidity hangs between 10 and 20%) But for some reason the ones I started with in the 70's are remembered fondly enough to keep a few dozen "pack ratted" away in a tin just because.......

Best cap for accuracy and reliance IMHO
10K plus for around $400 over many years.
Powder would be 750 #'s or so Wow that # just stunned me. Just did more figures and powder cost was about 5K or so not like todays costs.
Wow that's where my money went instead of booze and loose women!!
