Couple used bowies

KDubs:
Ok sounds like I made a great investment  :luff:
I really picked them up for rendevous/reenactor stuff,  10$ each.
I'll probably make a sheath for both and like said, turn em into trade blanket fodder.
 Thanks for your thoughts.
 Kevin

Ohio Joe:
Good thinking Kevin. I don't think you'll have any trouble turning a profit on them once they've been "old style" sheathed. Heck, you might even want to replace the wood scales with leather... They just might make good throwing knives?  :hairy

KDubs:
Throwing knives, really hmm. Maybe.
I was thinking a decorative fightin knife. Throw some rivets and fringe on a sheath . tada.

No Powder:
Kevin, please don't think I'm trying to be smart. But I don't know your background in knife and tomahawk throwing. If you decide on throwing knives, for your own safety I would lose the guards. They kind of resemble a throwing knife I bought from TOW a long time ago. It was made in India.

KDubs:
 Right on, no guards .
Did some research on throwing knives,  need one for my club ,  I think I'll try grinding the hook off the ass end, put on some leather scales .
  We'll see how that works.
