Maven, a friend of mine (I bet Rollingb knows him also - Chet Cliffton) only uses 60 grains in his .62 smoothy, and he's darn good shot with it. I don't know the rest of his load chain.

Joe, I should have added that his smoothies wear rear sights, but regardless of that he's an excellent shot.  OTOH, I don't miss what I don't have on my trade gun and actually have come to prefer shooting without one. :toast

I know Chet doesn't have a rear sight. He's always told me that it wouldn't do him any good as he couldn't see 'em anyway. I'm pretty sure this is all Chet ever shoots, and I've known him 20 to 25 years.
