Tom, this is a shame!
I don't know of any other builder of trap-spring knives....you were the only one.
I certainly like the knife you made for me....it gets a lot of use and I have yet to sharpen it.
I've had that knife for about two plus, maybe three years, if I remember right. Sure speaks highly of the metal in a trap-spring blade!

Tom it saddens me to hear of the hand troubles you are having. I thresher the knives I have of yours. They are working pieces of art. I get a lot of use out of them.
That new one you just made is a real beaut.
-
Well, I didn't get one of your knives, but I did get a horn, and treasure it. The last knife looks great too. You are a true artisan, Tom.
-
Well, I don't have one of your knives either, but I still lust after the beauty with red oak scales that you posted a picture of spring last year. Your tallent and experience is special.
-

I sure hate to hear that 2 bellys. I absolutely LOVE your style and craftsmanship. You'll not be replaced anytime soon.

Gadang  .
One of the best lookin knives I seen on these or anyone elses pages.
By da ways, the map in da background is from where I grew-up.
Just under the belt loop on the Pensey side of the River Delaware ya should see where Gen. G.W. X'ed on Christmas Eve., about 6 or 7 miles down stream from there still on the Pensey side ya should see the village of Yardley. Just below the Scudders Falls.

Very beautiful knife.
I see you are from Southern Missouri. My 18 year old son just returned from a four month trip of a lifetime to the US. The last part of his trip was to fly fish for three weeks in the Rolla, MO area. Sure brought back some very green pretty pics.

I don't know you but you are truly gifted sir.
I'm sure your work will out last us all.
