I'd set up and maintained Mike's "Maddog Archery" website for over a decade and he finally retired from bow making, but not before crafting me a most excellent longbow and sending it to me as a surprise gift. It's a narrow limbed "string follow" (belly set) longbow with walnut cores and a laminated riser, 65" nock-to-nock, 45lbs holding weight at 29" draw length. A fine shooter that'll make hog or deer meat for sure! Thank you Mike, and happy trails in yer retirement!

I designed and made both the quiver and tab. Both have worked well for me at the target butts or in the hunting woods and I've killed - and cooked/eaten - more than a few hogs 'n' deer.
