I don't mind a little warp in my ramrods, but one of the new spares I'm making looks like I used it for fishin' & hooked a 5 lb. Bass.
I seem to remember a post here about straitening a ram rod. Of course I can't find it now that I need it. I think it was something about compressing the fibers on one side to release (or create) tension.
Can someone explain that technique again?
Thanks, Dave

try heating the bent area over a gas kitchen stove then hold it as straight as possible until it cools,i've staightend a few this way.

you can do it by friction like straightin' an arrow.
