Thanks to my Cottonwood tree,.... my yards is always full of sticks after a high wind.  :o

The trouble with doing things right the first time is no one realizes how hard it was.
Often, however, the following is more applicable.
I stand corrected, a position somewhat painful to achieve, but once there, is quite satisfying.

I know what you mean,.... all of my store-bought ones are the same danged length (who's dumb idear was that?).  :o

The one's under the tree in my yard,.... are much more interestin' and a lot more versatile.  :toast :)

I've seen four foot metal yard sticks for sale, but I have avoided buying any as I don't want to cut a foot off them. If they were perforated where I could snap that un'needed extra foot off, I might reconsider a four foot yard stick purchase... :P

I know my dad made a lot of them some what shorter back in day when I didn't know how to pay atention very well.Come to think of it they got some what short at school too. :Doh!
