Title: rollingb's Christmas Drawing for a prize from the Plains of Kansas Plus, a $50 G
Post by: rollingb on November 13, 2018, 10:01:32 PM
I thought I'd put on an Appreciation Christmas Drawing this year for our TMA Members.  :)

Simply post a reply to this thread if you'd like your name thrown into the hat for the December 10th. drawing.

The prize is a "surprise" and there can only be one winner, so I won't go into details 'cept to say it's "traditional muzzleloading related" and well worth the effort to enter your name for the drawing.

Christmas is coming fast, so get your name in the hat soon if you're a paid up member.  :hairy (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/christmas/santa-present-smiley-emoticon.gif) (http://www.sherv.net/)

ATTENTION please,.... since I started this thread, a dear friend (and fellow TMA member who wishes to remain anonymous), is adding a Track of the Wolf $50.00 gift card to this drawing. (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/happy/woohoo-smiley-emoticon.gif) (http://www.sherv.net/) (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/christmas/santa-in-fireplace-smiley-emoticon.gif) (http://www.sherv.net/)

So,... it looks like we'll have 2 lucky winners.  :hairy

ATTENTION another Prize update..... a good friend and fellow TMA Member (who wishes to remain anonymous), has donated a Pound of Beeswax to the list of prizes. So now there will be 3 lucky winners.  :applaud (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/banana-santa.gif) (http://www.sherv.net/)

Might as well throw my name in the hat.  Hope I have better luck than I have had with Lotto.

Joe,
I wouldn't play dirty like that.  Well, obviously since I've been seen there trying to reposition myself.
No sir, not a chance.  My luck in winning stuff is legend - I just don't.
Heck, just today, I bought a couple of scratch tickets and each ticket had 13 chances of winning.  Lost out on all 26 possibilities, which is what I anticipated happening.  I do sincerely hope my luck changes with this drawing, but...
John

Rondo, I would like to add two more Member's names to go in the hat.

Charter Member # 75 Tom Faidley (No Powder)
Charter Member # 113 Robert Hunt (Crooked Gun)

Should either of these great supports win something, please contact me for shipping information.

I just got off the phone with Crooked Gun and he was very happy and excited! He extended his "Best to all the TMA Members"....quite a guy here!

He asked me to once again pass on his thanks to Two-Steps for the knife he won "eons ago", he couldn't remember when, but did remember how nice Two Steps was when he sent it to him.

:Doh!  Can you imagine brother Al, the original Christmas Grinch, being "nice"...just wait until Hank hears about this....lol

Joe, A regular retiree short-timer would be getting himself a few tinkering projects lined-up, but you're fortunate enough to never have have to do that, they come to you automatically....hope ya find a little time to enjoy this long awaited retirement.  :bl th up

Tomorrow is the big day for this Drawing, for our members that don't have their names in the hat, Santa is going to drive right by their house. I hope Rondo put directions on mine, it's the one with all the snow on the roof, and all the walk ways that need shoveling....should stand out pretty good in my little neighborhood.

WOW! His very own snow shovel, and in time for Christmas, kinda touches the heart if ya know what I mean.
I betcha he's going to be impressed.
But, ya just may have figure out a way to "power" that thing, or fix it so he can somehow tie his mule up to it.

That was mighty thoughtful of you Joe, I betcha Rondo's going to be plumb pleased.  :laffing

Hookin' that snow shovel up to an ornery ol' mule may be a bit tricky... Now a goat might be the way to go, but those ornery ol' critters like to eat just about anything they can get a tooth into... Not saying our ol' pal Rondo don't have some of those very same traits when we're a passing that jug around in camp, but he can still find his way back to his tent (or get close) without a rope tied around his waist when mother nature calls.  Yes sir, I'm a gonna have to do some powerful thinking here.  :o  :toast :shake

OK,..... Winter Hawk won this Buffalo Powderhorn that has a 48" (and can be extended to 60") woven strap made of super-soft Alpaca wool, with pine butt plug and spout plug.

I would like to add a BIG Thank You to Rollingb before this thread runs it course.

It is through the caring and sharing of time, and a few donations, that these fun things happen.
This old hoss and rollingb have known each other for a long time, and that old goat ain't changed nary a bit.
He has been the same since Shep was a Pup, and I personally find that a good thing.

Thank you Sir, for a very nice Christmas Drawing, a few were very lucky with a nice, unexpected Christmas Gift, ans some of us not so much.
However, IMO this is just as it should be.....we'll have to do this more often... :toast   :toast   :toast

If the Membership would like to see more of these drawings, please let us know.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I don't know, how does BigHawk sound??  SmokeyHawk??  Nah, guess I will just stick with Bigsmoke and not win anything.  Gots enough stuff hanging around here anyway and no place to put it.
Congrats to you Hawkish folks who won.  Thinking things went to good homes.  And Rondo, thanks for putting this together.  It's been fun watching it develop.
Merry Christmas all.

Package from Kansas arrived in the mail today.  Excitement knew no bounds as I ripped it open, darn near dislocating my shoulder, it was so well wrapped!  The powder horn is lovely, the photo doesn't do it justice.  IT might even be too pretty to take out in the woods.  Thank you Rondo, or as we said in the old country, hartelijk dank!   :toast :toast :toast
