Dad made my first lemonwood bow when I was 7 years old (these dayze I consider me self 75 years young :P ) from a stave acquired from L.E. Stemmler out on Long Island, NY.   Haven't stopped pulling string and loosing shaft since, at least once every month.  Great exercise during the winter months, too.  My basement range is only 8 yards long, but distance isn't the prime goal and is good enuf.
