Title: Smoothy Arrived
Post by: paco97 on March 03, 2009, 11:55:35 AM
I'm so excited!! This is my Jackie Brown, in the white that I got last year, but due to lack of ability, and busy work schedule I was unable to complete it.  I sent it to Jackie in January for him to finish it for me and boy am I soooooo Happy.  He took care of the mistakes that I made on it and really turned it into a really nice gun.   I can't wait to shoot it now!!!

Once I get home from work tonight, I'll be sure to post pics.

That's a beaut, Paco!  Let us know how she shoots.  I've always liked the look of a Jackie Brown rifle.  I almost bought one from him, but ended up building my own.  Nice guy to talk to though!

I had a JB smoothrifle once that was iron and browned. it shot very well for having no rifleing, his guns are some of the most comfotable to shoot I have come across these are very nice guns for the late Rev War and later.

Hey Paco, I got my .62 smoothbore pistol from Jackie in today to go with the .62 long gun also a smoothie by Jackie. I told you I'd post a picture when it came in. The "long" gun has a 30" barrel and it's real handy in those tight places.

The pistol is real light weight and has some nice curly grain in the maple wood.

Got everything layin on my buffalo robe, the guns along with my Buffalo Bag & Horn by Beaverman and my "Trappers Companion" belt Ax.
