This is a Don Stith S.Hawken that was built with a cooperative effort.
Don did the breech plug tang ,under rib , ramrod holders, wedge pin keepers and front site. Tom Stroh assembled it and Roy stroh did the finish work.
It has a .58cal 34 inch tapered Colerain

IMO the Hawken is the best looking muzzleloader ever made. I love late caplock guns.

That is a beautiful rifle. I like the darker stocks. I wonder what process was used to get it to look like that.

According to Roy Stroh who browned it,stained it and did the final assembly and inlay..He used a mixture of 3 different stains to get that color.
