The reason I am posting this here is because I am not selling them yet.
I had a feller email me and asked if I could make him a fork that would screw on his steel ramrod. I thought that was a killer idea! Here's what I came up with. He wants the short one but I'm keeping the long one. He is going to drill and tap them. As soon as I get a tap and die set I will be making them. That do you think?

That is a great idea also! Thanks! It really helps me a lot when folks give me ideas. Got any others?

Cap's right. I've got way more green sticks than I do steel ramrods!
-
Neat idea, however I don't think I'll be holding my wood ramrod over a fire too soon.
I think Captchee has a god idea for ya. Keep on tinkering!

"I don't think I'll be holding my wood ramrod over a fire too soon."
Now you've got to remember the fork is for a rifle or musket that has a STEEL ramrod (not wood).
-
ya i dont think it would be a good idea for a wood RR . frankly IMO not the best for steel one eather . good way to end up bending the rod . but to each their own .
myself if i was to buy one , i would want it so i could just use a branch and twist it on
no chance ow warping my steel rod or burning up anything that dint really mater

Hey Pete, while your'e creating away, how bout making worms for a .50 cal ramrod (TC or CVA). Then I wouldn't be losing me patches down in the bore. Some wadding would clean the breech plug face better too.
Work good on my smoothie also!

I've thought about making worms but there are so many on the market now at such low prices. I don't know if I could compete with those low prices.

You are truly talented with this stuff, everytime I turn around you have made something else. Keep up the good work!
