Ya know I'll be there if the world keeps spinning and the creek don't rise...and Hank still has some room for me on the back porch.

It would be nice to make this event. I would like to meet some more fellow TMA members.
-
You can put me down Eric, been looking forward to this since the last one. Sure hope you can make it Brian. It would sure be nice to get a break from Al once in awhile. I'll have to see if the dog is willing to move off the porch for you Al.
-

Nobber, I have this on my calendar, and I plan on being there atleast on Saturday. I believe Double Barrel will be joining me, and possibly another guy from our group.

My Lab's a good walker, great runner and a powerfully strong swimmer, but I think she might not think too highly of trying to pack this old man that far......
Uncle Russ..
-
Hey Al, If Russ thinks he needs a little more room, I think we could move you out behind the old shed. I don't think the skunk'll mind none.
-
Thanks Hank...you're a pard! Heck, if the skunks can stand it, I reckon I can.
Tell ya what Russ, I'll try and met ya in Kansas...that'll cut some off of the pups burden
AL
-
plannin to be there too

Bob, my friend, where in the world have you been hiding?
Geeesh, this is going to be a real shindig with all these fine folks showing up. That skunk just might have to share his bed after all.
Shinin, right shinin it is!
Uncle Russ...

Morning Bob ;). It'll be good to see ya.
Al

-
hi al, ya i been lookin forward to this too
-
MM - Nice to see ya come outta hibernation...LOL
-
Don't ride him too hard yet. He's probably hungry and real grumpy.
-
Russ, ya can take all that money ya got ridin me and spend it on travel expenses. It'll get ya to at least Montana. I won't mind, I am expecting Two Steps to come loaded for bear this year. With all his winnin's, he'll be able to build Hank a new dog house, or at least dig a new skunk hole!!!

Rumor mill has it that brother Al has the brand new, 2011 updated version of "Hard to Come by Excuses" that's he's been studying...he just might show you folks a thing or two with his new book of excuses.
He's likely to have excuses that ain't never been heard before.
If Hank's going be there too, I just might want to put my money somewhere else...better keep yer good eye on this one, he'll end up winning the shirt right off yer back!
Wish you folks were a little closer....actually I wish you were a lot closer.
Sounds to me like you guys are going have a right good time.
Be safe!
Uncle Russ...

MM, you sure about that? I wouldn't think there would be a whole lot of BSing going on in Nobbers camp! :rotf
-
Bob...ya might want to point out to the folks that "BS" stands for "Buckskin Studies". I'd sure hate for them to get the wrong idea.

Nobber
-
Well..I will be in Michigan working on a long project. If I can convince Swamp to let me ride with his posseeeee I'd sure like to attend. Never done a shoot like this before. What do I need to bring from the station in Middle Georgia for this event?
-
Rick; last year you'da needed about 50-60 round balls, hawk&knife, primitive bow and arrow, skeeter dope and a blanket. nobber can round up some tentage and feedin utensils, man can his wife cook! And see'in as how Two Steps is goin to be there, ya better wear your extra tall moccersins to!!! Hope to see ya there, Buzzard
-
garshdarnitall I just realized this is the same weekend as Gamehaven Council's Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills course - guess who's the course director.....
mebbe next year
-
Rick, just bring your shootin gear, your welcome to use my bow, hawk, etc. Them hip-wader moccs might be a good idee too.
-
Rick, my son and I will be going Sat only, leaving here early in the morning, and returning late that night. My daughter has her dance recitals on Sat and Sun, and I have to go to that on Sun. So, your welcome to hitch a ride with us if you want. I do believe Double Barrel is going with us as well. It's a little over 2 hrs drive for us, whitch isn't bad at all.
Let me know my friend!
-
I'm going to bow out on this one Nobber. It's the exact same weekend as the Oakland County Sportsman's Rendezvous, which is only 20 minutes from my house. A much smaller affair, but a beautiful camp site & most of my friends will be there.
I'll try again next year
-
Swamp...I will take you up on that offer.
-
If I can get the time off, I'll be there. Here's hoping!
-
fingers crossed
-
Pulling for ya Dan...
Al
-
I don't see any problems yet, and I'll be bringing my two oldest grandsons with.
-
I didn't even know you and Earl were related.
-

Al
-
Well, guess what? I got the time off. Me and the two oldest grandsons will be there. Don't believe Earl is coming this year. And just to set the record straight, we ain't related.
-
Good news Dan!! Look forward to seeing ya and meeting the boys...
Al
-
Good to hear son. You're gonna have to sharpen up them 3 hawks of yours. Or do you need five this year?
"And just to set the record straight, we ain't related."
That's good to hear also.
-
Well Gents; and i use that term loosely, the countdown has began. After the wettest April on record here in westcentral Ohio, our corn crop is only 3% planted, in a normal year we would be near 80% by now. If i'm gonna get off work to make this fandango, it's gonna hafta rain some more. A couple'a inches about Thursday otta do it!!!! If it stays dry, i'll be in the field. Dangit man. I know if i try a Shawnee rain dance i'll be shot, or shot at. Maybe by the dark of the moon would work. I'm still planning on being there but only Mother Nature knows for sure. Here's to ya, Buzzard
-
Well Buzzard, I hope you get your wish but I hope it only rains in your fields. I for one am getting pretty sick of it myself. I even had to cut the grass yesterday in the rain just to be able to keep up with it. In any case, I hope you can make it Jeff.
-
By the way Eric, do we have a final list of all the suckers...er...I mean participants this year?
-

Getting itchy myself Ed. Seems like that might have been a poor choice of words about this time last year.
