Title: Spider Web Bag
Post by: Spotted Bull on April 02, 2012, 10:07:30 PM
A bag I crafted for a feller in trade for a nice mountain man type blanket! It has a rather short strap because the gentleman wears his bag up close to his armpit...spider web on the flap and a bone button for adjustment on the back.

RB,
Does the spider web bag have a history or was it just a thought of
your buyer? Regardless it looks great!!!!

I have seen a couple in various books, don't remember which ones off hand but I can look it up. Customer did request it, and sent me a picture of bag that he liked.

It is 3 oz veg tan dyed with Feibings Mahogany dye...actually came out a little darker than I wanted when I greased it up with bear grease.
