Title: New 18th c. Euro Dagger
Post by: LRB on April 24, 2013, 01:38:27 PM
Not a copy of any particular dagger, but more just a generic composite. Blade of 01 steel, 7" x 1" x 5/32" with a through tang. Blade tapers in thickness from 5/32" to about 3/32" nearing the point. Grip is Cocabola with a brass ferrule and steel butt cap. Butt cap is threaded on the tang, and topped with a threaded brass ball. Guard is steel with hand cut file decoration. Hope you enjoy a look. A brass collared sheath is in progress.

That would do nicely as a last resort in a dire situation, and look good while doing it!

That's a dandy sticker. It would slide right between the ribs nice and smooth.
