Are there any after market barrels that will fit a pedersoli kentucky ?
Our state regs say max cal for squirrel is .40 which is also min cal for deer.
My shots would be no longer than 50 yds. Before i drop shillings on another rifle i thought i would check into a rebarrel. Thanks in advance.

Not aware of anything specifically for that rifle.
But, if you were to contact Richard Beauchamp he might be able to line up a breech plug for it and whatever else it would take to hang it into place. Then get a barrel from which ever barrel maker you like in the size and caliber you are after then have a gunsmith cut it to length and tap the barrel for whatever size threads Pedersoli uses, put it all together and viola, there you are. Not as easy as a drop in, but an effective work around.
Have fun with the project.

I've re-barreled those guns. Not tooo hard. But not a "drop-in" deal. Get a bbl. from a supplier, most are 42" the Peder's are 7/8" X 39" as I remember. Have bbl. cut off & thread for that metric thd. plug. Put the screw in lugs on bottom, add sites & drum/vent --bang-bang....Tom

Right. And the reason to get the additional parts for hanging the barrel in there is so you can then have one gun and two barrels which you can switch out to your preference.

Any idea of the cost involved with this project? Thanks for the info

Well, did some checking. My local bp smith said if i want a squirrel rifle just get pedersoli kentucky barrel in .32 and then you can swap barrels for what game you're after.
Did some more checking and cant find a source for these barrels, anyone know who might carry them? Thx
