I got a call from an old friend on the coast, he said he needed help with a stuck ramrod. I asked if he tried a co2 unit or a little powder under the nipple and shoot it out. He said he forgot to remove it and shot it out over a full load of 80 gr and a 58 prb and that's why its stuck in a maple tree next to his target! I think its time for a chainsaw.
-
He won't soon forget that!
-
Guess he could wrap a length of chain around the rod and hook the other end to his truck.
Should be able to pull it out of the tree.
Was he surprised with the recoil?

Tell him to cut it off flush with the tree and thank his lucky stars nothing else happened.
-
Tell him to leave it there to hang a sap bucket on.
-
PD I told him that and he said the sap was behind the trigger.

I wish I could say that I've never done anything like that but I'd be lying.

At least you're honest.

I called him today and told him about "leave it there to hang a sap bucket on." and he about died laughing!
-
Glad he could laugh about it.
