My wife has been gone for a while helping take care of her ailing father and when she came home this weekend I wanted to cook her something special to celebrate her return. When I started naming off some possibilities, she immediately said she wanted wild turkey breast and all the fixings. Fortunately, I had a good spring with my flintlock and bow and was able to fulfill her request.
This is how turkey breast is prepared at my house and, I think, how it was originally intended to be prepared: FRIED! The fixings include mashed potatoes, gravy, buttermilk biscuits and homemade applesauce. As always, the broccoli is thrown in for color.

For dessert, I made one of my wife's summertime favorites, orange dreamsicle pie.

Good on ya. Know she appreciated that.
Our Thanksgiving meal is deep fried wild turkey breast. Started cutting into strips to remove shot. Still do it that way when taken w bow or rifle.
Like you, mashed taters, gravy and sour dough biscuits. Sides Vary and desert is Karo Nut pie as my Grandma called it, down here they call it Texas Pecan pie.

"Fit for a Queen"....kind words and words of endearment if I ever heard 'em!
I'm sure she'll be right proud of your culinary skills.
IMHO, fried with mashed 'taters and gravy, is the best way to prepare wild turkey breast, it adds that special something that is otherwise totally missing.
Good on ya dhaverstick!
