Recently picked up my new smoothrifle from builder Don Bruton in South Carolina. It has an L&R Queen Anne lock, a 42" Colerain full octagon .62 barrel, with all furniture and trigger forged by Don. He made the front site from a very old silver dollar my dad carried all my life and most of his.

Don and his wife, Joy, are great people. Here I am taking delivery with Don.

That is a VERY NICE smoothrifle. What is the weight of the gun? I have been thinking of having Mr. Bruton build me one very much like your gun and I'm just curious as to the weight. Again, beautiful gun.

Well, I looked at that photo, and I looked at the caption and I was thinking about making a comment about it, but I figured someone else would if I didn't.
Expectations realized.
Looks like a sweet smoothrifle, I am moderately jealous. Too bad it is built backwards, else I would be much more than moderately jealous. :rotf
