Just a pic of my fowler -n- hand made possibles bag and shot bag. Nothing to fancy but gets the job done.
-
That looks fantastic
I have been wanting to make a shot pouch like that for awhile
Good looking set up

Looks good
who made your fowler?

I'd like to hear some more about your fowler, barrel length, lock, gauge, etc. I have a TVM fowler, .62 with a Colonial Va lock and a 38" barrel. I really like mine, too. Mine has a rear sight, which I like a lot.
Your shot bag and shooting bag are very nice, too. I like the "round bag" idea.

Here in the UK we called this type of pancake shot flask because of its shape you will also find that 99% of this type have the Irish type of measure.

Fowler was made by Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading. 42" barrel .62 caliber / 20 gauge with walnut stock R.E. Davis early english lock. The shot bag I made outa scrap leather from an old pair of leather pants....had no clue what I was doing just had an idea -n- ran with it...made the pour spout -n- stopper out of red oak.It holds 2.5 lbs of #5 shot.

You guys are a really bad influence, I ordered my TVM Fowler yesterday

It's THE JOB, rdstrain49, of other members to cajole, nag, beg and tempt the others to get more and more muzzleloaders, DUH. How would you feel if the twenty tons of pressure you currently experience was lifted; yes, you'd likely skip another gun and that can't be allowed. :salute

You are no help what so ever:)
